Hi
So in my first company, i started off with a probation period that was converted to a job after six months. To avoid getting people who are on probation on payroll (because there are many processes involved for this), my company has called this period an internship in my experience letter. I am planning to include this period as part of my full-time employment.
will this come up in my background checks and will i get in trouble.

Hi. Experience letters exist only in India I think (or perhaps elsewhere but not in the US) so I don't even know if anyone will be seeing/reading it/taking it seriously. Also, in case it is considered an issue, you will have a chance to explain yourself and have a conversation about shortcomings of your background check. However, in general some of these things are expected to pop up. Has the background verification company reached out to you for references?
I worked for a consulting company rather than an actual company but in my resume I put the name of the company. I explained it to the background check company in the past and they had no qualms about it at all. So I am sure it will be OK.

You will be fine sinkingbot, it is clear to me that you made no attempt to deceive anyone, and have no control over how the employer marks down this experience. Congrats on the admit!
