Writing Mathematical Formulas in the GMAT Club Forums This post is just for those curious about writing neat maths formulae in forum posts... I looked it up because I was typing out questions and wanted to use symbols such as \leq rather than writing the 1 (2) highlight the text that is a formula, and then click the "m" button at the top of the edit box. This will enclose it with little "m" boxes (similar to adding color to a part of text), and tells the forum to display your text as a formula: x^2 + (x+3)^2 > 1 (3) that's it, simple. Most formula will display automatically. Fractions, roots and other exceptions are below. You can also see the detailed post by Bunuel here: rules-for-posting-please-read-this-before-posting-133935.html#p1096628 Common symbols that can be used within your formula (selected with GMAT in mind): Fractions: \frac{a+b}{c} --- \frac{a+b}{c} - note that numerator and denominator have to be enclosed in {} and you have to write out \frac to tell the system that it is a fraction. Powers and roots x^2 --- x^2 x^{12} --- x^{12} - note that multi-digit powers require {} \sqrt{x} --- \sqrt{x} - note the {} and \sqrt to identify the square root \sqrt {x} --- \sqrt {x} Inequalities \approx --- \approx \leq --- \leq \geq --- \geq \neq --- \neq Subscript x_1, x_2 --- x_1, x_2 Geometrical \pi --- \pi 90^{\circ} --- 90^{\circ} \alpha --- \alpha \angle --- \angle \triangle --- \triangle Full reference link for the extra curious: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Mathematics#Math_operators

I have tried that it is not happening. THe source code doesnt mention anything about timer and dropdown selection is not giving me a palce to enter the values for dropdown . it is some three words of code [Dropdown Placeholder #2]

Use [g_dropdown=1]GRAPH_1_PLACEHOLDER[/g_dropdown] ..
Instead of g write graph complete. I have purposefully written it as g because it will otherwise take the formula it is set for.

Whatever you fill up in dropdown will be shown at this location.

I believe I know where the problem is.

If you post under the Data Insight, the forum is for theory and other queries. But if you want to post a particular question, you have to post it under relevant head - Two part analysis, Graphs & Tables and MSR.
