As the calculation we're asked to do is straightforward, we'll just do it.
This is a Precise approach.

$6.99 = 6
$(-2.01) = -3
6 * (-3) = -18.

(D) is our answer.

IMO D we need to round off number nearest to integer less than that number so
6.99 will be 6
-2.01 will be -3 as they are negative and lesser value will be -3
so 6 times of -3 is
6*-3=-18

$(-2.01) = -3

$6.99 = 6

-3 x 6 = -18

Answer: D
