Yale launches a three-year J.D.-MBA program
Want to bolster your résumé with a J.D. and an MBA from a top-notch school in a mere three years?
Yale students will soon have that option.
The school announced on Thursday that it is adding a joint juris doctor and master of business administration program for completion in three academic years. The offering is in addition to the school's existing joint J.D. and MBA program that spans four years. Both joint programs are a partnership between the law school and the Yale School of Management.

Only catch is that Yale law school has a higher range on gpa and LSAT scores, than that of the candidates applying for the business school.

I think the program is more for law school applicants getting an option to add MBA (corporate law concentration) to their JD than MBA students adding JD to their degree.
This will attract top law school applicants to Yale's MBA program and as a result, it can impact their MBA ranking in the future.
