You put 6 cards from 1 to 6 in a hat. You pick up one and you return it to the hat and pick up a second. If the sum of the two cards was 8. What is the probability that the first one was a five?

If first one was 5, then second one was 3

Total ways of summing up 8 by 2 cards = (2,6) (6,2) (3,5) (5,3) (4,4)

So Probability = 1/5
