Hello all,
Here is a quick checklist for all those who are applying for Round 1.
1. Getting the right recommender - If you are applying for around 3-4 schools you would need at least 6-8 recommendations. So make sure you have spoken and prepped your recommenders on your application plans.
2. Get your resume and LinkedIn updated. Make sure your resume is in a Business School resume format and not a Job resume form.
3. Transcripts - make sure you have these ready. Some schools will ask you to upload a scanned copy onto the school portal.
4. Fill up the application form in advance. Make sure you do not wait for the last moment for this. Apart from your essays there might me 100 character answers that some applications have.
5. TOEFL / IELTS / GMAT Scores - Make sure you have these in place.
6. Finally getting your essays ready. All your application essays need to be proofread, make sure your stories and content are in place.
Keep this checklist handy when you start applying.
