Do give the test at the test center as it creates a atmosphere which isn't distracting and which will help to keep to focus intact. The employees were professional and they took all the necessary security checks before entering for examination. The test center is hygienic and silent. Would recommend to get some better marker for righting and a cleaning wipes. As the markers used to get dried up quickly that was distracting to shake and use. And also make a washroom which can be used by multiple people at time because break is of only 10 minutes and if someone is already using the washroom it will create anxiety and will hamper the test. Also the test location should be mentioned properly to locate.

The GMAT test center in Ahmedabad provided a satisfactory experience overall. The staff was professional and courteous, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, creating a conducive environment for concentration. The test center had a sufficient number of computers and spacious seating arrangements, preventing overcrowding and distractions. The test room was quiet, allowing test takers to focus on their exams without disturbance. The center adhered to the scheduled timing, minimizing any delays. However, the availability of lockers for personal belongings was limited, and some test takers had to keep their items at their desks, which could be distracting. Nevertheless, the GMAT test center in Ahmedabad proved to be a reliable and suitable location for taking the exam.

I will try to help those who are looking for reviews to know whether to book a test here or not, as I was also searching for reviews before booking the exam here. I think it was good. No disturbance. Drinking water, restrooms, and lockers are available. Waiting area is also pretty good. There was no noise disturbance as it is near the busy SG Highway road. (For IELTS and other speaking exams) During the speaking section, there was much noise in the examination room but I think in any test center this Will happen because everyone is starting the speaking section at the same time. So practice for that otherwise you will not be able to focus. Go ahead and book the test. Good luck

i travelled to a different city to appear for exam but denied entry because passport was mandatory although it was not mentioned clearly to me at the time of booking exam.
also gmat team didnt refund me the fees for reappearing which is quite shocking as they are a test taking organization and not only profit focus business unit.
even after lots of request they were not even allowing a refund which is really bad from their side considering 250$ is a huge amount from students of india
the location was good
the staff was not at all supportive and denied access

The center is located in Navrangpura,Ahmedabad. It was my first time GMAT experience at any center so I won't compare this center to any other. This center is located near To L.D. Engineering college. This is center of the city and quite easy to commute. I had planned my exam on 08/09/2020 12:30 PM IST. I reached to center around 12:00 PM. I found receptionists very helpful. At First,They explained me each and every procedure in detail. Then, We followed my palm verification and sign procedure. Luckily, I was only one exam taker at that time. This place is very quite and there was no noise outside. Toilet is only 10 step ahead. There is decent local facility available.
In Conclusion , I will strongly suggest to each who is considering to appear exam at this center. Moreover I will give 9 Stars out of 10 to this center.

This is the second time I took the GMAT and am very disappointed with the unprofessional set up. The first time I took the test in August 2017 in Mumbai and the experience was above expectation. This difference in experience has strongly affected my performance. It is unacceptable that a candidate's career is in jeopardy because of a test center. I’m currently highly anxious and depressed. I was so shocked at the score that I couldn’t complain straight away.
To begin with, the waiting area at the test center did not have any seating arrangement, instead there was just enough space for 3 people to stand. I reached the test center at 1.30 PM, 30 mins in advance as advised by GMAC, as my test was scheduled at 2PM. Because there wasn’t enough space in the waiting area for all the candidates, we were asked to wait outside in the building’s stairwell, where it was as hot as 96 degrees with no place to sit.
After over 30 minutes of waiting, I inquired at the test center as it was 2PM, time for the test to begin. The officials asked me to continue waiting in the stairwell with no explanations other than “there is some error”. The officials were polite but gave no clear directions. I ended up waiting in the sweltering stairwell. I was hungry but the officials at the test center could not tell me how long it would take, so I couldn’t step out to get some food. Finally, at 3.45 after 2 hours of standing and in the stairwell I was called in to start the registration process. I wanted to use the washroom before the test, however the washroom is not usable as the door can not be closed. By then I was exhausted, uncomfortable and hungry. This is not the mindset in which a candidate should have to give the GMAT.
I would like to point out that while preparing for GMAT, I had carefully scheduled my day to optimize my performance, detailing my sleep and meal timings as well. Scheduling my test at 2PM was a strategic decision having practiced all my mock tests at the same time. Waiting for almost 2 hours threw things off schedule. The poor communication and inadequate infrastructure only added to the anxiety.
I could not believe that a GMAC center could be so inefficient.
I strongly urge GMAC authorities look into this and make sure that candidates like me do not have to suffer. Such highly unprofessional behavior should not pass unnoticed. Further it is extremely unfair that certain candidates face discomforting situations where as others have a smooth experience since such incidences greatly affect the GMAT score.
Few other concerns at the center:
- Noise problem: The testing room should be as quiet as possible, if not absolute. The wall and door should facilitate noise-cancellation. The noise from people walking in and out and chatting with each other outside should not be heard from inside the testing room.
- Noise cancelers: The center did not have noise cancellations (Mumbai center had these). Instead they had earplugs which were not very effective.
- Test taker’s companions were allowed to enter the waiting area and stand around where as there wasn’t enough place for all the candidates. The companions also tend to make noise, in this particular case there was a toddler running in and out of the center.
- GMAT rules: I was not asked to read the GMAT rules, directly asked to sign in and register

Well, I had scheduled a GMAT appointment for May 21st, 2012. The test was to start at 2pm but due a 'technical fault', the test started at 2.30pm.
As I started writing AWA, there was huge lag - i typed one sentence on the keyboard and the monitor displayed just a couple of words. I somehow managed to cruise through the AWA section.
As I clicked on the second last question of the Quant Section, the computer hung!!! can you beat that !!
The technical team could NOT fix the glitch. Few moments later, I was informed that I had no option but to reschedule the exam.
I was totally pissed, had a major fracas with the administration team at the center and also, with Pearson' call center folks in Malaysia.
I managed to reschedule the exam on 22ndMay. Thankfully, on 22nd, everything went smoothily and I got 710.
I wouldn't suggest anyone to take the exam at the Ahmedabad center for you might be the next one taking the exam twice.
