Seoul Pearson GMAT Test Center Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

For Seoul Pearson GMAT test center, I give 3 stars out of 5 stars.

1. Location:
Location could not be better if you are living in norther part of Seoul or Gangbuk as locals call it. It is within 5 minutes walk from Seoul City Hall subway station which makes it convinient to approach. Also, there is a huge Starbucks on ground floor where you can stay to relax and prepare before the test. On the left to the entrance of the building is a 7 Eleven so you can purchase some fruit or snack to be eaten later during break as well.

2. Center it self:
This is where some stars come off. Let me first tell you that I do not mean the facility is bad. It is very clean and quiet and room temparature is just fine so that you can take test without any discomfort.

However, the atmospher is way too strict. There is an automatic lock in the center door which can only be opened by the staff if you are outside (If you are inside, you can open it yourself with a button but a staff will still have to re-open it for you when you want to come back in). So even if you want to visit the rest room during break, there is unnecessary time loss because you have to wait until the door is opened by the staff. I think it is due to this reason that the staffs strongly tell you that even though the break is 8 mins, we are to comeback within 5 mins.

Another problem is that the center itself is small and will probably hold about 30 people maximum. (There are two test rooms each with about 15 people) Since you are booking your exam beforehand anyway, there is no problem of taking the test on the day. However, because of its size, it takes so much time to get security check before the test. So I suggest you arrive to the center at least 40 mins if you are on tight schedule or you are probably going to be delayed because your test will start late.

In short, it is not a bad center but being small and too strict, it is not optimal for test attendees who are already under enough stress. Sad truth though is that this is the only center in Seoul so if you are in Seoul, this is your only option.

Gmat exam at Pearson View Gurgaon center (Ansal University)

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

1. The experience on the test center was somewhat okay.
2. The test center is small. Only one invigilator.
3. The instance that happened with me: I kept waving my hand for some assistance, but the guy sitting was busy on a call . I actually had to stand up and go out to call him. Only advice for the center is to keep an invigilator to be more vigilant.
4. Location is quite convenient. In addition to that, there is a metro station only five minutes away. You will need to take an auto.
5. Restroom facility is good, since the center is located in Ansal University
6. I would prefer the Noida location for my second attempt.
7. No noise from external sources except for the typing on the keyboard by the fellow test takers. For that you surely need to have ear plugs, which the center fortunately provides.

Lot of distraction from gym above

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I wrote the GMAT exam on 26th December in 2016 at the New Delhi’s Dwarka area. This center is located in a small shopping complex and has a gym on the floor right above. There was loud music being played at the gym which was immensely distracting. The 2 guys sitting as administrators were sympathetic to the distraction but said that they couldn’t do anything about it. There is no separate washroom at the center and the common one at the shopping complex was very bad. I would suggest anyone taking the exam at this center to avoid using the washroom. The place has ample parking but connectivity through public transport is not good.

GMAT test centre Pune Range Hill GATS

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

It was easily accessible centre within the Pune city. Located at symphony building 1st floor on range hills after the SIMS (Symbiosis college) going towards University circle. It total have approximately 10 PC for giving GMAT. Screen and keyboard quality is okay, can be improved.
GMAT should consider opening another centre or expanding this centre in Pune. You will not be able to get slot on weekend if not booking at least 30 days in advance.
Overall experience with bio metric ID procedure and coordinator is good.
So centre availability is average.
centre location is good.
keyboard, mouse and screen +seating- average.
Pearson staff and procedure is good.

GMAT Test Center -hyderabad

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I appeared for the GMAT exam in the Pearson VUE test center in Begumpet area, Hyderabad. I was worried before entering the test center that some or other unforeseen incident might ruin my 3 months preparation and interrupt the exam, and this fear had arisen because of the several reviews that I had read regarding the problems people face in test centers. But to my luck, this center was very very professional, organized and clean. Even when I asked for 2 extra pen to carry inside the exam room , which was obliged by the test center. During the break the instructor clearly told me your break has started at this time and you need to come back by this time showing at the big clock in the center. There was a lock facility. the instructors were good listeners.
Just one small drawback of this center is its just beside the main road. The honking sound of vehicles can some time enter through the glass window but the center provides noise cancellation head phones. So not to worry.

Overall my experience was good. The Test center proved to be as expected from a GMAT test taker.

GMAT_Test Location Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I took GMAT at this location. Had a very bad experience with the seating location. First and foremost, that's a outsourced operations center. And people were working in that location. The place where I was sitting and giving the exam, was too distracting, the office printers were in the room, and some of the people were just banging the door open and coming and taking print outs. Proctors were helpless. Secondly, the drinking water was too too bad. Absolutely unhygienic. Advise all you guys to avoid this location, because its on the busiest marketplace of the city and the metro and traffic horns will distract you a lot.

Buenos Aires GMAT Test Center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

The center was not in the best condition. When I got to the center on a Monday for the GMAT Exam, I found out that they had been painting the whole weekend. Most computers were not ready, and were still covered with a plastic. The smell of fresh paint was so fresh that after the exam I had a very bad headache. The people, however, was very friendly through the whole exam. Headphones were adequate and prevented most outside noises be heard. The location of the test center is very convenient and central, with many buses and trains dropping you off at a very short walking distance.

Bring your own earplugs

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

The center itself is very professional, front desk was very nice and it does have lockers for you to store your belongings. It's also very easy to access as it's right beside the subway.

My biggest issue with this test center was that the earmuffs they provide are very rigid and are extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, the keyboards they use are very old and they are mechanical - so your neighbours will create a lot of additional noise. My keyboard was also not the greatest and kept dropping characters, which really impacted my writing speed for the essay.

test day experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

Hii All,
Finally took the test.Didnt fare that well, but would still like to share the whole experience and the do's and dont's that i feel should have been followed by me.
The test center of chennai was far from where i live and it took me more than 2 hours to reach. My test was scheduled at 1 but i reached by 12 and got to start my test by 12:30 PM.
The whole process of verification of identity and biometrics was smooth and the test center was good if not great.
Since my timing was clashing with my lunch timing ,I had to carried a bottle of hydrating drinks and some chocolate bars for the breaks.
The AWA and IR went well and then i moved to the quants section after a short break. The section started well and the initial questions were pretty straignt forward. The section went well with some tricky questions appearing around Q10.Since i hadnt taken too many mock due to my extensive travelling job,I was rushing throug the section in the first half hour. This allowed me to relax a bit in the middle section but this is where i think i screwed up.I overestimated my capabilities and was in a fix towards the end of the section.I had to rush through last 4 -5 questions which i feel i got wrong and resulted in a below par score of Q45.

My take aways :How much well prepared you are or good at any topic ,taking timed test is the key for the exam day.Appearing mocks is the most important thing.Little upset but i think i can manage this animal next time.Tightening my belt and getting ready for one more shot in a short while.only worry is i am little late for 2017 cycle.

All the best to everyone else planning to write GMAT in near future. Please take aa many times test as possible.

thanks

Test center in Lima

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

The only place to take the gmat in Peru is in Lima, at the new horizon computer learning center.

I arrived early and was directed towards the testing location which was a small room with 6 computers that was dedicated to the gmat takers. The room was old and pressed for space and they had the AC blasting to keep the room cold. I took the test alone as the other people had finished before I even started and this worked out wonderfully as it was quiet and I was able to avoid any distractions.

If you have to take the test here please allow enough time to wait in traffic on the way and also to look for parking in the area as it is very limited.
