Strengths:

The only positive aspect was that the basic check-in process was relatively straightforward. The staff attempted to manage candidates, but the overall testing environment undermined the experience, also the centre is too small with no sound proofing.

Would make the product better:

The center urgently needs better soundproofing and stricter noise control. Candidates taking different exams were typing continuously, which created significant distraction. There should also be stronger technical reliability measures in place to prevent network disruptions. A system failure in the middle of an important exam is unacceptable and adds unnecessary stress.

I had a very bad experience at the Pearson test center located at Sushant University, Gurgaon. The testing environment was extremely noisy due to other candidates taking different exams in the same space and typing constantly throughout the session. It was difficult to concentrate, especially during time-sensitive sections. To make matters worse, there was a network error in the middle of my exam where the screen went out completely. Although the issue was eventually addressed, it disrupted my focus and increased anxiety during an already high-pressure situation. For a standardized exam center, reliability and a quiet environment are basic expectations. Unfortunately, this center failed on both counts. I would strongly advise future test-takers to consider alternative locations if possible.

Avoid unless no options, try to check with the centre if the conditions will be fine.

Centre Experience Sushant University

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

Strengths:

The only notable strength of this test center was its location, which was relatively easy to access. The check-in process was also fairly quick, and the staff appeared polite at the beginning. Beyond this, there were very limited positives that contributed meaningfully to a smooth testing experience.

Would make the product better:

The test center urgently needs better infrastructure and stricter exam-day management. There was constant typing noise from other candidates, which made concentration extremely difficult. Additionally, the internet went down in the middle of the exam, causing serious disruption and anxiety. This resulted in a formal complaint to GMAC and a request for a reattempt, leading to unnecessary confusion and stress. Soundproofing, reliable internet connectivity, and improved invigilation are critical improvements.

My experience at this test center was disappointing and stressful. During the exam, multiple candidates were typing loudly, which made it hard to focus. More seriously, the internet disconnected midway through the test, interrupting the exam flow entirely. This forced me to lodge a complaint with GMAC to request a reattempt, which involved significant confusion and follow-ups. An exam of this importance requires a controlled, quiet environment and robust technical support, both of which were lacking. Given the pressure associated with standardized tests, such disruptions are unacceptable. I would strongly advise future test-takers to consider alternative centers to avoid unnecessary stress.

Worst Experience in the Test Center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

1. You will get a PC with mouse and Keyboard
2. Air conditioners were working
3. You will be provided sound proof air buds

Would make the product better:

1. Uninterrupted Internet Connection
2. High Quality Marker pen
3. Larger table
4. Assign a responsible person to monitor the exam

1. Tables are small
2. Bad internet connection. My connection was lost several times.
3. Examinees enter the room continuisly. They took other exams like PTE, SAT also. So the examiner was intructing the new examinee which hampered my concentration.
4. The person who was responsible to supply marker, paper etc was very irresponsible. I put up my hand for 3-4 mins for asking extra paper but the examiner was not available.
5. Computer monitors are old modeled. They should be replaced.
6. Wasroom was very dirty.
7. The air buds were not sound proof
8. Overall my house is far better than the test center.
9.Those who have decided to select the center, please go there first physically!

Terrible Experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Hi guys!

I want to tell you what happened today at the test centre—a bizarre situation.

I took the GMAT in Milan in a test centre that has been authorized by Pearson Vue 4 months ago. I think that the one I took this morning was the first GMAT test they offered in the test centre since of course here in Italy the pandemic situation has been quite bad from the beginning until now.

I arrived at the test for 1 hour in advance, and I was focused and energetic. I got 770 and 720 in the last two simulations, (the 770 was inflated since I knew 3 questions that I saw on YT/GMATClub) and I felt quite confident.

The test was scheduled at 10.00 am, and I got there 9/9.15. The proctors weren't able to obtain the codes to let us begin the exam, and the exam started 1 hour and 30 minutes delayed (11.30), the situation totally bombed me. I completely lost my focus. We were all distraught.

We haven't been provided with the GMAT erasable notepad guys!! I am not joking! They just gave us one plastic sheet (ONLY ONE), and we have been told to raise our hand after finishing it. WE WERE ALL CRAZY FOR THAT!
The proctors didn't have earplugs with them, and they brought us during the quant section interrupting us while working on the exam and time was going. Of course, after 3 problems (I got a geometry one) I finished my only sheet, and so I raised my hand while wasting too many seconds. The proctor came in 2 minutes, and I was not able to write down anything. At that point, I decided that it was really a horrible situation and I would have lost a total of 10 minutes just continuously asking a new sheet every 5 minutes. We have been provided with rubber, but the desk was not fixed, and so everything was unstable while rubbing the only paper I had.
It goes without saying that there weren't soundproof divisors between us.

At that point, I was sure I was aiming for a 600 at a max of course. I decided to quit and get a 200 to make everything more dramatic with the GMAC. Soon other guys quit.

I am so angry with the test centre, and I've already called the London office which will call me back tomorrow. Same with the US headquarters.

Not only I want a refund but also like to ask for having another exam as soon as possible in another test centre. While we were waiting for the exam to begin, I talked with a guy who has already taken GMAT in another test centre in Milan and told me that everything was fine as it should be.

I haven't read anything like that so far here on the forum, and I would like to know what you think about that.

IF YOU ARE ITALIAN, DON'T TAKE THE EXAM AT "FIRST CONSULTING" in "Valtorti 48"!

At least not now that it was clear they didn't have any experience at all.

Test centre

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Range hill centre is not good, systems are old and noisy, traffic sounds are also disturbing.
Try considering WTC centre, that is way better but has less no of dates available.
Knowing the nearby surrounding, the infra is easily accessible and has the peaceful feel to it, apt to give the test.

All the best. Hope this was helpful

Range hill center has had several complaints on test centre staff amd no response on breaks too. Please be careful in picking dates and centre. It is really a demotion If the test centre is not comfortable or doesn’t have test taking ambience

agile technologies review

Firstly, although the place is well listed on google maps and tagged everywhere, finding the entry point to the building is a task. The center is on the 4th floor of the building and the list is operational only till the 3rd.

Moving on, once you enter the test center, it is quite well maintained and the staff is cordial and well behaved. I had an issue with the worksheets they provide and in-spite of keeping my hand raised for several seconds the worksheet was not changed and i had to literally barge out and collect the worksheets myself.
Further more, in the IR section the link failed. All the candidates were then escorted outside and the entire system had to be rebooted again. The facilitator did however award us a couple of minutes for it, but the damage was already done.
This definitely led to the decline in the score of IR section and was a bad experience throughout. I would highly recommend the test takers to be careful while booking this center.

Disappointing and pathetic GMAT experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I took the real GMAT on 21st Aug 2019 at Pearson VUE center in Bengaluru

Exact Address :
No 45, 3rd Floor, Trade Center, Dickenson Road Above Bhima Jewellers, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560042.

The registration process was smooth but the test experience after that was horrible. There was a person taking the GMAT sitting beside me who started the test at the same time but was coughing so loudly throughout the test and was continously murmuring the questions he was trying to solve.
I could somehow manage the Quant section but comprehending long sentences in Verbal was near to impossible due to his constant coughing and murmuring of questions. I even informed the invigilators sitting outside the test room during the 8 minute break about this issue. But there was no effect. I tried wearing the noise-cancelling headphones given but they were very uncomfortable.
I ultimately spoilt my GMAT and scored a disappointing 660 ( Q51 , V27 ).

My official GMAT mock scores were :

1) Mock 1 - 690 ( Q50 , V32 )
2) Mock 2 - 700 ( Q50 , V32 )
3) Mock 3 ( Took after spending 2 weeks on SC ) - 750 ( Q51 , V39 )
4) Mock 4 ( 4 days after Mock 3 ) - 740 ( Q50 , V39 )
5) Mock 5 ( 2 days after Mock 4 ) - 740 ( Q50 , V39 )

I raised a issue after the test and also raised an enquiry through mba.com portal but I have not got any reply from GMAC yet. This is very disappointing that GMAT test centres dont maintain a calm environment for test takers.

Gurgaon centre in times tower, MG road

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Hi all, the centre is well-located. 5 stars for that.
The centre was easy to find, though I visited a night before to make sure, even if I hadn't, it was easy to find the centre.
The centre's location on google maps is a bit off, it shows before the MG road metro station (Gurgaon), but you have to keep going on the service lane till you see a Hyundai showroom. The building is called times tower, and Hyundai showroom is at the front of it. But, for the centre, you have to walk in from the side and keep going in until you enter the building. There is a coffee place on the entrance, eat/drink anything before entering the centre, on the 2nd floor.
THEY DON'T ALLOW TO DO THAT ONCE YOU'RE INSIDE (which is weird, when you're sitting in a waiting/queue with more than 10 people in front), only during your breaks you're allowed to eat/drink.

One of the centre's staff member was rude/harsh/unfriendly/impolite/bad, unlike others. This is uncalled for when you visit a test centre with all your hard work and a little bit of anxiety.
-5 stars for that

The centre had clean washrooms, which was a nice thing, but during my test slot, it was full so people had to wait, as most of the participants were starting the test at the same slot (first come first serve).
2 stars for that

I personally didn't like the staff member behaviour. I was told later on after the test by some that this has become usual in Delhi centres. I have taken the test at another centre, too, Amritsar. The staff there was polite and respectful.

I would like to urge the test-takers in Delhi, to keep in mind while choosing a centre that these things might affect your test-day performance, so be prepared for it and keep a stronger focus on the test, than on these things, which you can't control. As other centres in Gurgaon are not that close, one is likely to choose this centre. BE CAREFUL

Do you have any idea about the pearson center in YUSUF SARAI COMMUNITY CENTRE new delhi?
Thanks.

Hello,
I haven't taken a test at the Yusuf Sarai centre though I was about to book it before the MG road centre, which I feel was a big mistake.
I would recommend you go for Yusuf Sarai as a couple of my friends who took their test at Yusuf Sarai centre didn't really face much hassle as we did here.
Also, I don't know about the centre much, but I must advice you to take care of these things you may encounter and make sure they don't affect your concentration in any way possible.

Is the YUSUF SARAI CENTRE in Delhi closed? If it is closed then which center in Delhi NCR region would be the best to give the exam? I am currently getting these 4 options:
1. Ansal Gurgaon
2. Barakhamba Road (Delhi)
3. MG road Gurgaon
4. Noida

Does the location (Pearson MG Road) has a locker facility for keeping mobile, vehicle key etc. ?

Bad Experience with New Horizons Dubai Test Center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Hi, I wanted to share my very bad experience at New Horizons center in Dubai.

The AC was not working in peak summer in Dubai. So it was very very hot. The center provided fans and coolers which made a lot of noise. Also, there were computer servers placed in the room which were causing more heat and noise!

I felt center is not conducive to give GMAT exams and it effected my concentration and and definitely my score too! I didnt feel this this was not a Standardized exam and I dont understand how Pearson is allowing such centers to operate like this.

Did anyone else face such issues? What is the best recourse?

Patna Center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

The center should be avoided by all. I have taken the test at two centers. One in Patna and the other in Gurugram. The Patna one was far inferior compared tot he Gurugram one. There was place for just two people and the partition was not well defined. The person siting next to me could see my screen and Vice versa. The toilet was also not clean. While writing the AWA section, there was a lag between the keys pressed and the letter to appear on the screen and so the editing was a pain.I lost out a lot of time in the AWA due to this.PLease avoid this center.
