GMAT Club is a very useful forum for GMAT aspirants looking for thorough preparation in both quant and verbal sections. The quant questions discussed in the platform are of high quality across all difficulty levels. Also, the information shared regarding latest changes/trends/updates is reliable and very useful. Webinars and other sessions conducted by various other test prep companies are quite useful. Multiple discussions on a question by different members open up new approaches and helps one select his/her best approach. GMAT club tests provide a very good platform to simulate GMAT tests environment including the look and feel and quality of questions.
I have had experiences with a lot of questions from various sources including the official GMATprep, Manhattan Test Series, Veritas test series in addition to GMATClub question bank. I mostly use GMATclub for sectional tests (full length) and the experience has been really good. The level and quality of questions, the explanation and the link to forum discussion are some of the key highlights of the module. Additionally, the analytics and the reports on the results and problem areas are also very insightful to pin point the problem area.
Few areas of improvements:
1. Increase the number of Verbal tests. It is really important as it's a big selling point to the non native speaking GMAT takers.
2. Include a few full length tests (all sections, including IR and AWA)
3. Better and imporved tie-ups with Magoosh, e-gmat etc. for more attractive packages.
HI,
I will start by saying , that though these tests deviate a bit from the actual GMAT exam tests, But the crisp explanations are really concept building and in all senses a better study for the real GMAT exam.
Its a must do for all the aspirants aiming for a Quants 50 , 50+
All topics are equally covered, Also different modes are available like Study mode, Practice Mode and exam mode, which student can choose as per his/her flexibility.
Also, a student has a choice of using questions either as mock or as Quizzes.
Its an all in one program made... I rate it higher than any other Quants study material present in market
Since 3 month I am preparing for the gmat exam. I basically prepare from GMAT CLUB TEST. The quant section is unavoidably necessary for a score of 48 or more. the 700 level equations are no doubt very important and conceptually lingered. To practice around 1200 questions, no doubt, makes a difference for higher quant score. The verbal section is also equally good, But I have some understanding problem in CR section for higher level questions. the RC and SC questions are very useful to score 35+ in verbal. And one more thing is that, to practice more than 1700 REAL GMAT STYLE QUESTIONS did indeed make a difference on preparation.
The quant tests you'll usually find(even on official software) are either too easy or too broad in terms of their subject matter as compared to the actual exam.
GMATclub quant tests are a very good recreation in terms of their difficulty levels and subject matter.
Their questions are not heavily formula based but are genuine testers of conceptual understanding and logical application of the same.
I found their Verbal questions to be a little off the mark of the best available and there is scope for improvement in recreating similar content to the actual exam.
GMATclub's interface is a very good recreation of the actual exam software.
Gmat club tests are the best. Both in the quantity and quality of questions. The quant questions are of very high quality Also, Gmat club tests is identical to the one on GMAT exam as compared to all other tests.
The best prep material for mastering core GMAT skills and solving hardest questions on the GMAT. The short cuts come handy and helps save a valuable time on the GMAT. I have seen tremendous improvement in my quantitive reasoning and it has offered me useful tips to improve my GMAT score. Definitely a must have if any targets 50 and above. Great questions and answers from forum members. I am now more confident solving GMAT questions than I used to be. GMAT Club Tests questions are really the best in the market. Truly value for money. You can never go wrong.
GMAT club can really get you a very high score.
The quant questions are great but the variation in difficulty level of questions during the CAT is not similar to GMATPrep, even while getting so many questions wrong in a row it still presents you 700 level questions which is surprising but not sure if it is similar to actual GMAT CAT algorithm. But quality wise the questions are much better and provide an excellent opportunity to prepare for quant, however for verbal sections the tests are very less and they are not on par with GMATprep verbal. Also for some critical reasoning questions there was ambiguity in answer choices. Overall I would recommend the GMATClub Quant tests highly to anyone aiming for Q50 or higher.
The quant section tests are actually more difficult than the actual GMAT. They have a really large variety of questions and are a brilliant way to practice. The higher difficulty level ensures that you learn to pace well over the exam and choose which shots to take -- you cannot afford to spend/waste a lot of time on individual questions. However, I would suggest to only practice using official GMAT questions and NOT the GMATClub section tests during the last 2 weeks of the exam, because the official questions, even if retired, are actually closer to what you'll see in actual exams.
Verbal, on the other hand, is not as extensive as I feel it could be. There is a relatively small pool of questions, and consequently, small number of practice tests you can take. I would recommend doing the verbal section tests, but also look for the questions in the individual forums for working on more practice questions.
Overall, this tests are worth it, and I would strongly suggest anyone seriously considering GMT prep to get the tests!
Excellent tool for improving your Quant to the top level. As the name implies these tests were designed to challenge you. With some effort from your side they help you learn how to solve tough Quant questions. The Challenges cover all necessary areas of Quant section such as Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Probability, Combinations/Permutation etc.Good tricks and though questions in both Math and Verbal. These CATs will force you to think in the right direction
In general, the results on real GMAT are in +/- 40 point range compared to MGMAT. Very good tool for personal evaluation, which helps to find week spots in your knowledge. Highly recommended if you want to check on your preparation progress
