3 - 1/2 = 5/2
3 - 2/5 = 13/5

We flip it one more time to 5/13. So (B)?

\(\frac{1}{3-\frac{1}{3-\frac{1}{3-1}}}=\)

(A) 7/23
(B) 5/13
(C) 2/3
(D) 23/7
(E) 13/5

We can simplify the given fraction:

1/[3 - (1/(3 - 1/2)]

1/[3 - (1/(6/2 - 1/2)]

1/[3 - 1/(5/2)]

1/[3 - 2/5]

1/[15/5 - 2/5]

1/[13/5] = 5/13

Answer: B
