Hi All,

I will make this really short and simple. I took the GMAT last week and scored a 670. I was disappointed - my target was 730+. I studied very hard, but I couldn't achieve my target. Could someone please suggest a solid 1 month plan for me to get that 730+. This would be super helpful!

670 is not a bad score. What is the quant and verbal split? without the individual score, experts wouldn't suggest you the further process.

Keep a study plan verbal focused and stay in touch with quant
You just need a 2 point increase in each

Since you're scoring Q45 + , I think you should try GMAT club quant tests. There are 26 of them and you can easily finish them off in a month's time. Nothing can beat them if you're aiming for a high score in quant. What resources have you used for verbal till now?

Hi such8,

From 670 --> 730 essentially means from a 80 percentile to 95 percentile in 1 month, which is challenging.
I would recommend to go with a personal tutor (if you have prepared on your own before).

If you have had a tutor before, then you should aim for increment in both subjects (Q49 & V40) to achieve 730. Best way is to make a study plan (available in GMAT Club) and find a study partner.

Hey Abhi,

Thanks for the advice! I have used the GMATClub tests before, but I was always scoring in the 47 range. I don't know what I can do to level up from here?

As for verbal, I have practiced questions from OG and GMATClub. I also have the MGMAT prep tests. Any resources that you may have that could help? anything you suggest I follow?

Hey Dillesh,

Thanks for the help!

I know it is challenging. But, I am trying to study by myself. But, let's say I start an offline course? I am currently residing in Maharashtra, India. Could you suggest a GMAT course that could help? Any notable institutes I should contact?

Hello such8,

A score of 670 is appreciated. Don’t be disheartened. Also, the target score of 730+ is not so far, and it is practically achievable. To achieve a score of 730 + various possible combinations you should remember are V37/Q50, V39/Q49, V41/Q48.

As per our experience, most aspirants like you at the time, struggle with time management. Also, rarely available shortcut, updated GMAT related questions and alternative techniques to solve questions save time creates a huge difference.

In your case, we will recommend you to follow the plan as:

Verbal – Revise your grammar basics of GMAT grammar book or Aristotle grail for sentence correction. For RC and CR, try solving the 700+ level question.

Quant – Visit our website https://www.mathrevolution.com and check our Q 51 shortcut module.

Learn the quick and alternative approaches and connect with available trainers for doubts.

Keep checking your performance by taking mock tests. You may try our free diagnostic test once.
