1 MONTH TO TOTAL SUCCESS DAILY VLOG! FROM 600 TO 670

Question

Hello guys im already preparing for gmat for 2 months, and before 1 month i took a gmat prep mock and scored 600! I havent done any test from then and yesterday i booked my gmat exam date for 13 november, so i got 1 month to get to 660-670 score. I will post daily how i prepare for the final day!! My score was q47,v25 so we need big improvement in verbal.

Now i think that during this 1 month till today i will have a small improvement in verbal but im gonna practice as i did yesterday a mock and got v25!! 
I have already done a ttp for 2 months! So my prep will be from gmat club question bank,veritas prep 7 mocks, kai gmat prep 5 tests!!

I have to say that i havent done any prep in Geometry.. i know that it is wrong but whenever i see a geometry i just guess and move on!! If i realize that this restrict me to get v48 or even 49 becouse i lose a medium-easy difficulty geometry question i will try to prepare!!

All the best. Improving your Verbal will probably pay more dividends in regards to significantly increasing your overall score. Regularly reading articles from The Economist may help with that.

Start reading on a daily basis to ensure that verbal is no longer a barrier to the top GMAT score you desire. I recommend you to download the freely available resources (flashcards) on GMATClub website for SC & CR for a quick review on your concepts.

good luck! try to watch gmatninja and ron sc videos on you tube. They help improvement in verbal.
As for the quant,try to attempt gmatclub tests twice once for practice and error correction , and the second one to get a grasp of overall preparedness to solve hard questions with ease

Ok so day 1 was yesterday..

The concept that i worked on quant was Overlapping Sets, i tried to solve around 40-50 questions from gmat club 700+ level, from both official questions,manhattan,magoosh and other probelms. I created a word where i copy pasted the difficult and the wrong questions so in the future just a little before my exam, get a revise of these problems.

In verbal i had a very bad day in sentence correction.. I practiced 15 questions 600-700 difficulty and got 6/15 (40%) while i tried and 6 difficult with 3/6(50)

after that i tried 15 cr questions 600-700 (9/15) and i did 3 rc passaged with total success (4/9)

however i have to say that in both cr and rc i was a bit tired from sentence correction. and maybe is the fact that i started practising verbal in evening after quant!!

In sentence correction im making some silly mistakes, and the most times i eliminate 3 choices and in 50/50 i always select the wrong answer. I dont say im unlucky i just cant figure out 100% the best answer but im trying to!!

in critical reasoing while i know the concepts for each question (weaken,strengthen etc) i got problems sometimes in meaning and the translation of words while in bold faces, and evaluate im very bad!!

Yesterday was day 2:

Quant : i did some exercises for sequences, nothing extreme i was bit bored yesterday..

Verbal: ok here the things were much better.
Sentence Correction: i tried 18 examples in range 600-700 i had 14/18 and i tried 15 700+ and my score was 6/15(while i lost many close questions, 50-50%(we need work here))
Critical reasoning : 600-700 11/14 while in range 700+ 6/11
Reading : None!

Now in day 2 as you can see guys i did better than in day 1 and i think that day 1 was just a bad day! I have to really increase my 700+ attempts in bot cr and sc and i think that it will take some time!

Ok guys so in days 3 and 4 i bought from IanStewart here on gmat club some pdf that he provides with math questions at level 45-51 and im working on them.. i bought 3 pdfs with 200 questions each so, these days im gonna solve these questions!!

ok guys im done with today, i did 24 number properties quesitons , and 20 algebra for quant!!

in verbal things getting a bit better in sc on hard level questions! however im afraid sometimes to sumbit my answer and i change sometimes my mind and i select the wrong questions, the silly mistakes in some medium questions are there and i have to avoid them.

Now the major thing is inCR i lost today a lot of questions! and from tomorrow im gonna practice per subject! for example in 1 day i will do only weaken and strengthen and i will try to lot more!! in other day assumption and resolve and go on!!

One thing i have t mention is that i cant control my self anymore, when i lose in verbal an easy/medium question i got a lot of rage!!

Good luck, verbal35! My problem sets are very challenging, so don't be concerned if you find many of the questions hard, but if you can learn from them, that should help you push your score from Q47 into the Q49-Q51 range. I hope it goes well!

day is off!!

Quant : i did today many rate problems!

Verbal : i did total 30 question of 600-700 sentence correction i got 25/30 i think its preety cool 
Reading : i did 3 passages 600-700 and 1 700+ total 14/17 in hard i had 2/3 (hard passages are very tricky)
Critical reasoning i tried some strengthen questions i had 0/6 ( for no f.. reason i got mad and i stopped)

nothing to mention took 2 days off with some sc questions practice .. im getting better on 700+ i got now 6/10, 7/11 while in 600-700 we are going not so bad( but we can better) 16/20
