First subscription is $20 + $5*x
Second subscription is $40 + $10*(x-6)

For 10 films -> Subscription 1 = 20+50= 70 & Subscription 2 = $80.

Saved from using subscription 1 instead of 2, for 10 films = $10

Cost for Subscription A =
$20 (monthly fee) + $5*10
= 20 + 50 = $70

Amount saved by choosing subscription A over B =
$40 (monthly fee of B) + $10*4 - Cost of A = 80 - 70 = $10

Hence, $70 & $10

Ans: Cost for Subscription A = $70 and Amount Saved = $10

Cost for Subscription A for 10 movies = Monthly fee +(Total movies watched*Charges per ticket for each movie) = 20+(10*5) = 20+50 = 70

Cost for Subscription B for 10 movies = Monthly fee +(Total movies watched*Charges per ticket for each movie after 6 movies) = 40+(0*6)+(10*4) = 80

Cost Saved by taking subscription B = 80-70 = 10

For 10 movies each month:
For Subscription A:
Monthly fee = $20
Charges $5 per ticket per movie => For 10 movies = 5*10 = $50
TOTAL (A) = 20 + 50 = $70

For Subscription B
Monthly fee = $40
, allowing him to watch up to 6 movies per month at no additional cost,
with a $10 charge per ticket for any movies beyond the 6
=> For 10 movies = 6*0 + (10-6)*10 = 0 + 40 = $40
TOTAL (B) = 40 + 40 = $80

Cost for Subscription A = 70
Amount Saved by taking Subscription A = TOTAL(B) - TOTAL(A) = 80 - 70 = 10

For Jordan to go for Subscription A he will pay a fixed cost of 20$ and another fixed of cost 5$ for each movie which will amount to 20+50 (since he will watch 10 movies)= 70$

For subscription B he will pay a field cost of 40$ + an additional 10$ each for 4 movies as the subscription covers the cost of the first 6 movies. So total cost = 40$ + 4*10= 80$

Therefore Subscription is better as it is cheaper by 10$

Therefore, total amount = 70$ and amount saved = 10$
