Hi. This is unusual. For the last 6 to 9 months, you can only schedule one test within 16 days for the classic GMAT regardless of whether it is online or at the test center. Prior to March, you were able to take them independently. Sometimes people have been able to schedule them more frequently but usually one of the appointments would get canceled.

So your guess is as good as mine but I don’t think you’ll be able to take the test before the 16 day cooled down expires… previously, you weren’t able to schedule more than one test but that also has changed some time in the last 3 to 4 months.

And unfortunately these policy changes are not announced and we only learn about them kind of by chance through people posting.

I actually went ahead and scheduled the test center appointment for the 26th - payment went through, can see the appointment under 'My Exams' as well. Interestingly, it does not allow me to book a GMAT Online appointment till the 9th of January. What do you think will happen when I go on the 26th? Will they not let me write? Will they reschedule it for free in case I'm not allowed to write?

I scheduled this attempt after giving my online exam.

Hi wanted to check if you were able to take the exam? I’m in similar situation and wondering if I should go ahead and book available test even though it’s sooner than 16 days

Hey, do NOT book before 16 days, it's a system glitch that GMAC hasn't fixed. They will cancel any score secured prior to the 16th day
