My interviewer (Sloan adcom) mentioned that the Sloan and engineering departments were meeting in 10 days (3 days from now) to discuss candidates while she was explaining the process to me. Did anyone else hear anything similar? Not that it changes anything, I'm now in wait-and-see-and-try-to-move-on-with-my-life mode, but I figure I'd add some fuel to the fire.

My Interview Fest Experience:
The interview itself was conversation style. Very relaxed. I was first asked why I was interested in shifting my career towards operations/manufacturing. Then I was asked two behavioral questions which I had come across the many online resources. First one was "...attempted to persuade someone/group and failed?" and "...had a difficult conversation?". I also got the automatic questions of "which partner companies and why" "Any changes since application submitted" and "anything else I would like to add that I did not cover previously". overall I think I answered the questions well, but I dont think I blew it out of the park, and thus I think I am just in the middle of the pack.
One candidate mentioned that he learned from speaking with the students that 120 candidates and that 56 would be accepted. I have no idea how accurate that is, but I think it confirms what we expected, basically a 50/50 shot. I also found that all of the current students were very friendly and down to earth. They were also a very close group.
I wish everybody the best of luck and I cannot wait for decisions to come out.

I had a dream last night that I had gotten into LGO. Then I woke up, and thought it was all a dream, but then realized that it was actually true. Then I woke up that *that* dream to reality this morning.
My subconscious is playing some really mean tricks on me.

Oh, and now that I have enough posts to post links, here are the collection of blog posts about LGO interviews I had found when prepping for Interview Fest. Hopefully it helps someone out there in the future:

Waiting to hear from LGO for further interview invites... hope they come, hopefully they send it after they've evaluated the interview-fest prospects All the best to all those interviewed at interview fest... You all must be great people like current LGO students, would be good to be friends with such a community (if i make it through)

Anyone else freaking out that the HBS deposit is due this week and we still haven't heard anything from LGO? The LGO program is by far and away my first choice, but I don't understand why they made the timing so that you are obligated to pay $1K to Harvard regardless. Its a catch 22-- if I don't put the deposit in at HBS I'm sure I'd then get rejected from LGO!

March 12th is the posted date. So this weekend should be the weekend we find out if we get in or not. 2010 they announced on Friday, in 2011 they announced around 3pm on Sunday. I think they did it in alphabetical order by last name.

I am wondering if the calls are going to continue through tomorrow and maybe the weekend, or if all the acceptances have gone out already? Any thoughts?

I am pretty sure that this is it as virtually everyone of those who have been taking part in this thread got calls yesterday. As they are likely to evenly represent the entire group of applicants I am considering to abandon any hope.

In 2011, everyone was called on one day.
In 2010, the calls were made over the weekend. PriceNation, a stalwart on this board, compiled this list:
jzd - call - Friday - last name starts with C ndsheth8 - call - Saturday - last name starts with ? LGOorbust - call - Sunday - last name starts with ? aam2005 - call - Sunday - last name starts with M LGOgirl - call - Monday - last name starts with Z
We know last name P at 9:15 CST was called last night. It's possible us Q-Z bunch will be getting calls tonight as 10:15 EST seems pretty late to keep making calls. But unlikely.
Congrats to all who got in! I recognize some people posting here from the interview and know you're all awesome, deserving applicants.
