Hi Eddie,

Many Test Takers who use a 'book heavy' study approach end up getting 'stuck' at a particular score level. Considering your score goal, and the fact that you've studied before, it's likely that you'll need to invest in some new non-book resources. Thankfully, a December 14th Test Date gives you plenty of time to study and improve, which is good.

1) How many hours do you plan to study each week?
2) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
3) When are you planning to apply?

Hi Rich,

in my first attempt to study for the gmat, I did not use all the books from MGMAT, I used only their fundamentals ones and number properties and then I watched some magoosh lessons ( I would say 40% of their lessons). That's why I think that if I have a study guide for MGMAT combined with magoosh for aditional explanation I can achieve the 650.

anwsering your questions:
1) How many hours do you plan to study each week?
A: 3-4 Hours each day (mon - Sat)
2) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
A: I will apply for BYU only.
3) When are you planning to apply?
A:End december early january 2017.

thank you,

Eddie

Hi Eddie,

Since you have a lot of time before your Official Test Date, right now you can continue studying in any way that you like. I suggest that you study as you see fit for the next 2 weeks, then take a new FULL LENGTH CAT (with the Essay and IR sections). That score result will help to define how well you're studying in this way and what changes (if any) will be required for you to hit your score goal.
