Hi guys, finally I'm confortable to tell my story here. I'd been studying for the gmat since August and finally faced it yesterday.
Here's my story:
15 Aug - Gmat Prep (diagnosis): 600
01 Oct - Gmat Prep (after the
OG and attending a prep course - MBA House (Brasil)): 700
20 Oct - Mock test (past tests): 660
23 Oct - Mock test (past tests): 680
10 Nov - Gmat Prep (first pool again): 680
17 Nov -
Manhattan Prep CAT: 590
25 Nov -
Manhattan Prep CAT: 590
2 Dec - GMAT: 710 (Q47, V40)
After I took my first
MGMAT I got really worried, really tense, stressed. I looked for everywhere about its difficulty. If it was harder. I felt it harder. Really harder.
After the second one, I though everything I had done so far had been useless, that I was going to fail. Lost my confidence.
I decided not to take any mock until the day of the test, focus on reviewing the topics, and doing specific exercises.
And then I got the best book ever: Cracking The Gmat.
One day before, I did the practice questions of the GMAT Prep software. And I got 93% of them right. This kinda build up my confidence again.
And that was it. Just did a couple questions in the morning prior to the test, just to get things running, without looking the answers.
