Hello everybody. I am a European non-native english, who just registerd at GMATClub and want to tell you my story, see what you think (any advice is handy)
I have been working at a Big4 Firm during the last 5 years, which means around 50-60 weekly hours of commitment. I tried studying for the gmat during 3 months, and only obtained a 470 score several months ago, (though to be honest I couldn't actually prepare for more than an hour daily during weekdays, and it wasn't that much quality time).
Here comes the turning point: I just had a leg injury that required surgery, so I now have 5 Full time weeks @ home without work (I assume I can study 7-8 quality hours / day), and then 3 weeks where I can only count with weekends (and maybe 1h daily of preparation) before the test.
I "only" need a 600 score to enter my dream BS... My questions are:
Is it rational to believe that I can make it (score increase of 130 points in the alloted time frame of 2 months)?
What free material should I use? (I prepared for my previous test with 1997-99 GMAT material however I noticed that the questions in the exam had absolutely nothing to do).
Thank you in advance for your answers,
Hey its definely possible to go from 470 to 600 in 2 months...especially with the amount of tym u have (luckily??) due to ur leg injury....
my advice:
1.download the free GMAT prep FREE software if u havent already...from the official GMAT site:
https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx. There is also an option of buying and additional pack of 400 questions at $25.
2. I know u asked for free material, but u should buy
the official guide 13th edition ....or 12th edition. Its not optional, its a must.
3. Thursdays wth Ron FREE vedios by
manhattan GMAT test preperation company....these are an absolute goldmine....however, i reccomend you go thru the basics at least, before starting on Ron's vedio as he assumes a basic understanding of the topics covered
https://www.manhattangmat.com/thursdays-with-ron.cfmIMO this should be enough to bring 470 to 600....however if u still find u need more indepth guidance, u should check out
MGMAT guidesAll the best!
