Let total employee =100.
Night workers = 60
Day workers = 40.
Now night absent = 20% of 60= 12.
Day workers working at night = 30% of 40= 12.

Total working at night = 60+12-12= 60.

Required % = day workers/ total workers at night. * 100
= 12/60 * 100 = 20% . AnswerE

well, i also think the above question is with flawed sentences, but i found this PS in a local MBA admission book. The question maker made those sentences very wordy and confusion as well. GMATinsight and Bunuel sir, i would like to request you to amend this problem's wording, if it is required.
Thank you
