Hello everyone!
Rewind 40 days , and I was scourging through the forums of gmatclub for tips and tricks. Given my first attempt at the exam , I was very tensed about the AWA and the verbal section .
Day 1 - Wrote the free Manhattan mock test - Secured a 680 with Q51 V(30 something)
Day 2 - Wrote Princeton free test - Secured a 650 with Q50 V(30 something)
Day 3 - Spent the day grumbling about my lack in verbal skills.
Day 4 ,5 , 6 ..... - Verbal , Verbal , AWA , DS , Verbal ... Strictly in that order (15 mins each with a 5 min gap in between)
Day 25-30 ...Reviewed the Quantitative formulaes from Veritas and Manhattan .
D-Day -- Travelled to the center an hour back to find someone being denied the exam due to his absence of passport. Calmed my nerves , took a sip of water .
AWA - followed a basic template available on this website , with some guidelines.
IR - mind -boggling questions , the secret is to not let them boggle your mind
Quants - Was elated to see some extremely difficult questions in the later stage.
Verbal :- Ah! Now it was time to face the boss . Took 20 min for the first 8 questions
A steady stream of medium to easy questions followed . Took a deep breath and clicked "NEXT".
and poof!
