Took the GMAT in Yerevan today, currently both happy and exhausted as I arrived in Yerevan today at 3AM and just 16 hours later I’m waiting for my flight back home.
My prep wasn’t that extensive - I went though the first four official practice tests, and scored close to what I got on test day on all four. Looked at a few GMATClub problems, too. Honestly I’d say that the practice tests were HARDER than the real deal, especially quant. So to anyone getting a score they’d be happy with on their practice tests - the only thing stopping you from replicating that on test day is worrying too much :D
Arrive to the test centre early - I was around 30 minutes early and boy am I glad I was, since that’s how long the “verification” process took.
Decided to go with verbal first, then quant ( and I suggest everyone pick the same order as what they’re used to, don’t try spice it up on test day. ).
I thought I bombed verbal… but I was really confident in my quant ( I was sure I went 31 for 31, lol. Fistbumped the air after the section. )… aaand yeah, you can see how that turned out. I did a lot better than expected on verbal, and underperformed relative to my expectations on quant.
We all suck at judging our own performance, and you’re no exception, so just take it one question at a time and see what happens. Don’t waste valuable time contemplating useless scenarios like I did on quant.
I’d be happy to answer any questions y’all may have :D
