lets say computer(C) and hardrive(H) are different entity.
question is asking what is cost of harddrive?
ie H=?

statement 1 computer with harddrive= 2900
C+H=2900

statement 2 computer without the hard drive costs 1,950 dollars more than the hard drive alone.
which means C=H+1950

ST1+ST2 if we solve it we can find value of H. hence together sufficient i guess..

GMATinsight
