\(30\text{ miles} = 1 \text{ gallon}\\
120\text{ miles} = 4 \text{ gallons}\)

\($1.25 \times 4\text{ gallons} = $5.00\)

(B) $5.00

The car needs 120/30 = 4 gallons to travel 120 miles, so the cost is 4 x 1.25 = 5 dollars.
