Imagine the container contains 10 liters of milk.
It is then adulterated by adding 50% of milk's volume of water. i.e, 5 liters of water.
Ratio of Milk : Water = 2:1
In 6 liter of the mixture, the ratio will be 4:2

2 liter of water is taken out.

The container contains x liters of milk.

Water equals to 50% of the milk was added, thus water quantity = $$\frac{x}{2}$$.

Thus the milk to water ratio = x : $$\frac{x}{2}$$ = 2 : 1;

6 liters of milk was drawn,

Thus within that 6 liters mixture, composition was 4 liters milk and 2 liters water.

Hence, 2 liters of water was drawn.

IMO ans is B.
