We can evaluate from inside
Step 1: f(3)
Since 3 is odd,
f(n) = 2^((n−1)/2)
f(3) = 2^((3−1)/2)
= 2^1
= 2

Step 2: f(f(3)) = f(2)
Since 2 is even,
f(n) = 3n/2
f(2) = (3×2)/2
= 3
