This problem is easily solved thru reverse substitution ..

The 1st rule says a remainder of 1 if group of 3 ppl .. so only 22 and 34 satisfies this condition.

Next it says a remainder of 2 if a group of 4 is formed.. so only 22 satisfies...

I don't quite understand why 10 is an answer possibility, is this just to throw people off guard since the last statement is that the group has to be >12 and ten still is correct for all the conditions?
