Could option B " A letter by Mark Twain, written in the same year of publication as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," be made correct if we add the verb "was" after "Finn"?

Because that would become:
A letter by Mark Twain, written in the same year of publication as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn WAS WRITTEN, reveals that Twain provided financial assistance to one of the first Black students at Yale Law School.
Reasons:
What is the correct meaning: A letter, written in same year in which the book TAOF was published, reveals xx.
What absurd meaning it would be : publication as book was written - is it self nonsensical meaning
We no need to correct wrong options because we would be entangled in such thoughts open to debate . It's better we must know why right is right and wrong is wrong.
