GP = 40
=>0.25x = 40
=>x =160

=>0.30 x 160 = 48
=> 48 - 40 = 8

25% represents 40$

1 % represents 40 /25

30% represents (40/25)* 30 = 48

48 - 40 = 8

The best answer is C.
