A new group of revolutionary musicians, capable of delivering stunning performances, are prompting the development of more complex forms of music.

A. revolutionary musicians, capable of delivering stunning performances, are- A group should be singular
B. revolutionary musicians, capable for delivering stunning performances, is- capable for(wrong idiom)
C. revolutionary musicians, capable of delivering stunning performances, is- correct
D. revolutionary musicians, capable for delivering stunning performances, are- same as D
E. revolutionary musicians that are capable of delivering stunning performances are- that are capable(wrong)

Two traps to look out for in this question:

1. A "new group" of revolutionary musicians ..... "is".



We are talking about the group, a collective noun. So we will use IS and not ARE.

2. "CAPABLE OF" is the correct idiom

"Capable for" is incorrect.
