Let the number be d
d divded by 12, gives a remainder of 7

d can be 7,19,31,43....
These numbers when divided by 6 gives us a remainder of 1(Option A)

Number divided by 12, gives a remainder of 7

Number could be 7 or 19 etc

Then same number is divided by 6 then remainder is always 1

Answer: option A

Breakdown and solve-
Quote:

Least value of the number will be 7
Quote:
If the same number is divided by 6, then the remainder must be

\(\frac{7}{6}\) will give remainder 1

Thus answer will be (A) 1
