I have some questions about Re Vera and would like to ask for thoughts. btw, I have already reached out to AdCom.
1. I applied with Employer1. After that, I got an offer from Employer2, and then I let the AdCom know that I am going to start a new job, after which AdCom added a note to my application. After I started working for Employer2, I got an offer. Now, I don't really know which employer Re Vera would contact. Because my official application (resume and application package) still indicated Employer 1.
2. I spend 2 years in a foreign college (China). It has no transcript delivery service. I can only print it out in a kiosk and ask the staff to put the transcript in an official envelope and seal it. However, Re Vera request all transcripts be sent directly by their institutions. It is possible I can ask my cousin to go to the Admin office and ask the staff to mail the envelop to U.S. Obviously it would be challenging, since it is not a routine service offered by Admin.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Regarding number two on your list, you should check with them but based on my research usually they are fine with transcripts that are sealed by university (e.g. put in a university envelope, stamped and signed on a flap by a university official with no signs of opening) and then sent by someone else. Hope this helps!
You can definitely do what is practical. In my experience, background checks are fairly flexible. Lots of people change jobs and depending on situation they may only verify one employer or may try to do their best. International verification is extra hard so I don’t know how much effort they put into especially if it’s a small employer.
Asked to transcript, you can totally have it in a sealed envelope with some kind of a signature or a stamp on the back of it. Totally acceptable for international University of C college.
