A small furniture store chain conducted performance reviews of its 10 branch managers. The managers’ performance in several metrics over the last year has been compiled in the table. The table also lists some relevant features of each manager’s branch.

1. Median of satisfactory rate should be 49-ish. Percent change over previous year - those with increases consists of 6 different managers. Majority would mean 4 out of 6. Turns out 4 out of 6 have satisfactory rate > 49. Answer True.
2. No positive correlation as a decrease in year-over-year sales happens consistently even though sales force size increased. Answer False.
3. Branch that had highest sales in previous year should be the ones around 100+ but yet with a -ve percent change in sales from the previous year, which means they dropped but still have the highest yearly sales (and the highest yearly sales is 100-ish). Stripley had a sales of 112.2 from the previous year which is the highest - it has underground parking. Answer True.

1. Sort for the second column, the median will be 98.8. Now sort the fourth column in ascending order, we can see 4 out 6 managers having employee satisfaction rates higher than the median. True.
2. If we sort the last column in ascending order, we can see that, there is no positive correlation between that column and the fourth column i.e. percentage change in sales over the previous year. False.
3. For this one, I picked up the 3 managers who have yearly sales of over 100. I roughly estimated their last year's sales using the given percentage of sales in the fourth column and found out that B. Stripley had the highest sales >110. They have underground parking. True.
