Let 20 cars be produced for x number of days
=> 20x + 10(10-x) = 12*10 = 120
=> 10x = 20
=> x = 2 days
Option A is correct.

The answer is B,
for the average to be 12 you need the total number of produced cars divided by the total number of days to be 12.
Hence, (10*10+20*x)/(x+10)=12
10*10+20*x= 12(x+10)
By solving this equation x will yield 2.5
