A train traveled from station X to station Y at a constant speed of 88 feet per second. Is the
distance that the train traveled from station X to Station Y greater than 40 miles? (1 mile =
5,280 feet)
(1) It took less than 45 minutes for the train to travel from station X to Station Y.
(2) It took more than 42 minutes for the train to travel from station X to Station Y.

B. Lets find the no. of minuets required to travel 40 miles (40x5,280 = 211,200 ft) = 211,200/(88x60) minuets = 40 minuets.

So the question is: Soes the train takesm ore than 40 minuets to travel from x to y?

1: It talks about less than 45 minuets. so the time could be 44 or 4. so nsf...
2: It talkes more than 42 minuets. so suff..

88 ft per sec = 88 X 60 ft per min = 5280 ft per min = 1 mile per min = 60 mph

(1) Time = { 1,2,3,... 44.9} RT = D 60 X( 44.9 / 60) = 44.9 > 40, lets say it took 30 min 60 X( 30 / 60) = 30 < 40 Insuff

(2) Time = { 42.1 ..... } For any value of time in B, apply RT=D and we will get D value greater than 40 Suff

Hence B
