Re: Accepting & reporting of score [#permalink]
Also if I choose to cancel my scores from the first test, would my second score card mention it that i took a gmat but opted to cancel the scores? Also they ask you to choose 5 programs before your exam and not after your exam. They ask you to choose your programs without you knowing your score. Isnt that so?

The schools do NOT see a 'Cancel' anymore. If you cancel it, it's like the exam never happened.

But yes, you choose the schools at the beginning, before the exam. You don't get to see your score and then choose which schools to apply to.

I am still curious about my last question, though: do schools see all official GMAT scores even if you sent only one? I thought they did...

Hi jz4analytics
Thanks for replying. It feels so better just to talk to someone when are in a panic mode.
I think if we cancel scores then nobody ever gets to know our scores. But if we accept it then it is accessible to every program you apply. Even if we retake the exam both of the scores are reported. Am i right? I dont know.

When a school receives your Official Score report (either part of the 5 you can choose when you take the GMAT or when sent separately) the Official Score Report include all GMAT exams you’ve taken within the past five years.

1. If you take the test first time, but do not send the reports to other schools. The next time when you take the GMAT and send the report, the schools will be able to see all of the scores.
2. If you cancel the first score, on your scorecard it will show a C status, but the schools will not be able to see it when you send the score report the second time.
