I took two practice tests and scored around a 640-680 a month ago. I took one of the practice tests again and scored a 720 (I've been studying for the entire month since I took the last practice test and didn't review my answers from the previous session). Is this score accurate or is it simply because I retook the test? I had to rework all of the problems and didn't remember any of the answers.

I took the two gmat prep tests a month and got 540 and 590. I saw 20% duplication when taking in second exam. Finally I got 550 in a real exam yesterday. Hope this helps

Hi chestud13, If you are talking about the GMAT Prep CATs, then you can assume your score to be in the same range.
Regarding the 720, even if you did not remember any of the questions, still there are some traces of the question in your mind that affect the speed in which you solve a question. The CR and and the RC questions are most affected by this.

Hi chestud13,

Retaking a CAT that you've already taken is NOT realistic and almost always leads to artificially 'inflated' scores. As such, you cannot rely on this 720 score as being accurate. Test Day is a rather specific 'event', which you CAN properly train for, but you have to be rigorous about the details.

1) How long have you been studying?
2) What materials have you been using?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
4) What is your goal score?
