Adam can type at a constant rate of 50 words per minute and Bernie can type at a constant rate of 40 words per minutes. At what time will the two have typed same number of words?
1) Bernie started typing 1 minute before Adam started
2) Typing speed of Adam is 25% faster than the typing speed of Bernie
1) Bernie started typing 1 minute before Adam started

Given rate of typing of A 50 wpm and that of B 40wpm
W=r*t

B started 1 min before A so B has lead of 40 words
Or say
50*X =40+40*X
Where X is time taken post 1 min
Solve for X =4
But question is what time not in how much time so
