Hey guys! Very glad to share that I got the admitted to the below colleges in the following courses:

1. ESSEC - MiM (Cergy, France)
2. Duke FUQUA - MMS FOB (Durham, NC, USA)
3. Ivey (Western) - MSc in BA (Ontario, Canada)
4. UBC Sauder - MM (Vancouver, Canada)

The order of preference is as above. ESSEC seems the obvious choice, but am I missing something? I have definitely considered language, location, cost of living and tuition. But is there something else that I need to consider? I want to pursue a career in Consulting (have prior work ex of 1 years in the same).

Any thoughts/suggestions/opinions will be appreciated.

Lemme know if any other info will help give better advice. Thanks so much!

I was in a similar position as you with ESSEC when I got through INSEAD and I realized that I don’t want to be a victim of economic pressures because of the turmoil in European countries. While US is currently observing layoffs in the job market, it is still considered far more stable than Europe. We often discount these economic factors while considering higher education but I would suggest to give it more weight than cost of living, language etc.
