Dear All,
I've applied to 4 schools for the Full time MBA: HKU, HKUST, NUS, NTU. I received a direct offer from HKU and NUS for their programme. I'm still waiting on a response from HKUST & NTU.
Now assuming I get an offer from HKUST (fingers crossed), I will have to choose between NUS and HKUST. My question to you guys is what would you choose?
My background is as follows - 4.5 years of work experience in the O&G industry. Currently working in the Marine industry with approximately 4 months of experience here.
I've heard mixed reviews of HKUST and NUS. Some say brandwise NUS is known throughout the world, in some regards more so than HKUST. Others say that the HKUST programme is superior and more mature, but the job prospects are slim in HK compared to Singapore due to the language requirement - most jobs require fluent/business level Mandarin. My mandarin is currently at a beginner/low intermediate level.
Any advice from you guys would be much appreciated.

I would go with NUS, it’s consistently been a good school.
FT was probably paid a lot to bump up HKUSTs rankings since the new dean joined.
Rankings make no sense, look at their employment reports. Jobs are all that matter after you’ve paid an arm and a leg in tuition
