I say we go ahead and crash terp's place anyway. I'll be there a couple weeks before him :)

If you are in a studio or convertible facing the north, you overlook the River so no building will block your view there. I think there are some 1BR and 2BR units that look out west and straight towards the Tides bldg...that could suck.

Anyone have an idea how nice those apartment gyms are? I don't mean how new the equipment is, I'm wondering if they have enough free weights and space to really work out. I'm looking for dumbbells, barbells, power racks, etc. I found most apartment/condo gyms to have mostly machines and not much room for anything else.

Xenok, I imagine they will be standard apartment gyms, dumbells, cable machines, and no free weights. I think the reason no apartment complexes have bench sets and other free weights is for the liability. Someone could truly get hurt if they weren't properly supervised.

That makes sense, but it also makes the apartment gym less attractive to me. I'll probably spend more time at the school gym (any comments on that?)

I met a few of my fellow admits from Korea tonight, and they all seemed pretty nice. Looking forward to spending two years in Chicago with them.

Well, looks like I wont be able to do my usual pre-admit weekend party for you guys this time. Wife has a scheduled c/s on the 22nd, so going drinking on the 23rd is pretty much out of the question... That said, there's no reason you all can't keep the tradition alive without me. If anyone wants to step up to the plate, go for it. I recommend Fado's for a nice easy location thats good for people (plus its where we've done the others, so it's getting nostalgic).

I won't let you down rhyme.

Admit Weekend II crew, what about April the 23th, ad Fadó at 8PM? We can head to TNDC afterward.

I assume Kellogg didnt come close to the money...if not then definitely a smart move. All that cash buys a lot of "fit" in my book haha.

I Guess so - I received last year. If you don't receive, just ask them later when you're here.

Congrats, manbilla! Looking forward to seeing you (maybe?) at Gleacher.

As for PT vs FT, I've never noticed a difference in treatment, a Boothie is a Boothie, PT or FT. That's what I observed at the Worldwide Booth Night I attended.
