Well he was kind enough to split the referral bonus w/ me, so I figure I give him the honor of being my neighbor lol
There's 3-4 boothies on our floor (10 apts per floor) so I will end up w/ boothies on both sides :)

Based on the websites, I like those buildings, too. Do you think there will be apartments available to lock in around July? I am a little concerned about taking too long, but I want to wait to see what kind of scholarship money Kellogg offers me before making a final decision to attend Chicago Booth.

Same here. I am looking at Aqua and Shoreham. Did you have the chance to visit these buildings? Aqua looks amazing and the rent isn't all that different.

i went to ecuador last year - it was awesome. i highly recommend it. personally, i wanted to go somewhere i likely would not go to otherwise.

I called the leasing manager today, and she said the Aqua apartments have been leasing pretty quickly. She mentioned somewhere around 28 units in the last two weeks. My wife and I visited the Tides, and from what the leasing manager said, the inside is basically the same as those in Aqua (certain things like cabinets, appliance color may be different). We're probably going to go with Tides if we decide to move to Lakeshore East. It's $100/month cheaper than Aqua and it gives us a bit more time to look around. I guess I'm not quite ready to throw down a deposit and sign-up. My wife still doesn't seem to be sold on the area. Either way, I'll be hanging out at Aqua alot if Soni and Terp are living there (along with plenty of other Boothies, it seems).

Hey, guys, please PM me detailed info about Aqua. I'm going to be there at the end of April. What is a typical procedure? did you pay deposit? are you going to live starting in August? Please, clarify this stuff for me and maybe you will find a good partner for evening/night beer meetings ;)
