Does anyone have more information about the Leadership Ventures? I can't seem to be able to find much info. When does it happen? Is there an extra cost? etc. Thanks! :)

Yeah, it's extra cost. Not included in student budget.

Is there any benefit to paying the deposit before the last minute? What could I do right now if I had my PennKey?

I am 99% sure I am heading to Philly, but it is in my nature not to take any risk with zero benefits.

My understanding is that you can't start Kroll until you pay your deposit. Starting early on that is the only benefit I see.

I already started Kroll w/o Pennkey, so I don't think that is the case. Speaking of Kroll, wtf. It has been about 10 weeks and haven't heard anything. I inquired with admissions and kroll a couple weeks back and they said to just wait and not worry about it. Annoying.

I see, then I was wrong. Are you a R1 Admit? I don't think the R2 admit have received their Kroll forms yet.

You need your PennKey to get a Wharton email address and the student card. You can then start accessing all the Wharton and UPenn resources, e.g. the alumni database, webcafe, spike, career management, job board, etc. Also, remember that your PennKey/password combination is used on some of the UPenn's websites, and your Wharton email/password combination is used on others, and sometimes it is your Wharton email/PennKey password!

nope, still waiting,

though, you could access the online version through admit portal. Just found out that deadline for scholarship application is April 24th. so, you may want to start exploring it.

Question about Kroll for anyone whose employer uses WorkNumber for verification. My employer doesn't allow managers or HR to verify employment, so we have to go through the WorkNumber to verify employment and salary. On the Kroll form where they ask about the employer phone number, what did you enter?

I've just submitted Kroll verification form. It should be over in 8 weeks max. I've submitted Kroll before paying the deposit, which I'll have done in next couple of weeks.

No, it seems it won't take 8 weeks. They've contacted both my present and former employer this morning. Cool... The sooner the better.
