Hi,
I want advice regarding booking my gmat date this month. Now i have been preparing for a long time and this is my third attempt.
I am getting scores within 680-750 range (average score 700 in experts global mocks and 690 in gmat prep two official mocks, around 10 mocks in total). Now i see that in Feb the slots are not really falling on holidays and one is on 17th feb which is monday so i can have the weekend off to be ready for the test, otherwise the workload is such that i don't think i can afford to take too many leaves.
Also i would like to share that I also have a cricket tournament starting in mid feb which will go on till march and for that we need to play on weekends however if i book on 17th feb then i will devote entire weekend for gmat.
Kindly advise on this since i wil then start revising concepts and practicing incorrect questions from my practice again. Also please advise if i should take gmat exam pack as well for practice or can use rest of experts global mocks or shall i just do away with mocks and just directly appear for gmat just by revising and practicing questions.

Good luck with your third attempt.
The key element of success at this stage of your preparation is to be well rested and at the peak of your performance for the GMAT. It is not a great idea to study 12 hours a day for a week before the test. It is also not a great idea to be trying anything new on the test. Everything you do, you should have rehearsed and practiced.
My suggestion for you would be to take a weekend off and take a practice test the day before around the same time you’ll be taking your real GMAT. Don’t spend too much time otherwise the day on studying. You can review a bit but take the day mostly off. Get some flashcards or lists you need to keep fresh in your mind but otherwise do something enjoyable and not stressful. I know that we have been speaking directly, but to reiterate, since you seem to be scoring in your score range on practice exams, and since your schedule picks up after mid-February, there is no reason to give the GMAT a shot on February 17. Once you make a decision either way, feel free to let us know. Good luck!!
