Hi All,
I am an international applicant from India.
Post-MBA, I am looking to get into a product management role in a tech company in the USA, but I am open to exploring other career options during my time at the business school. I am an engineer and currently working in my family business(electronic products).
I got admitted to
Rice Business school but no scholarship
SMU Cox with a total scholarship of $80K
Babson college with a total scholarship of $50K
Pittsburgh Katz with a total scholarship of $50K
I do not have any location preference, and all these programs have a STEM degree option.
Rice is a higher ranked school among all these schools and has a good reputation in the US, but is it worth joining Rice without any scholarship considering that I am an international student, Or should I join Cox or other business schools for a scholarship? I am a bit confused, and suggestions in this regard will immensely help me.
Also, I would be happy to hear your views on Cox business school and its prospects for international students.
Please help me in deciding which school I should join?

Congratulations on your admits and scholarships.
You are most likely to recruit off-campus at all of these programs, which makes it a very simple choice. Save your money. I don’t think the reputation of Jones is going to justify foregoing the scholarship.
You can and should try to inform them about your decision and the fact that you have scholarship offers from other universities if you have not done so already. Some business calls are very open to negotiations and others are extremely shy.
My choice would be Cox.

I agree with the feedback above. You will like recruit off grounds at all the programs, however, SMU cox has an advantage for Tech with Microsoft and AWS offices in Dallas. You can recruit for those offices and it will save you $$$$ since you are an international student.
