I would go with E on this one.
B, C and D are incorrect
In A, languages derive from seems to be incorrect because they are derived by someone. We would use derive from if something is inherently derived from something.
(A) All modern computer languages derive from
(B) Derived from all modern computer languages is
(C) Resulting in all modern computer languages was
(D) Modern computer languages, which all resulted from
(E) All modern computer languages are derived from
I would go with E on this one.

To make the comparison easier, I have used symbols as follows:
X = All modern computer languages.
Y = basic assembly language
The idea of the prompt is to declare that X is derived from Y
(B) literally means that Y is derived from X. Hence, we can eliminate (B)
(C) means that X resulted from Y - this leaves us with so much room for contradiction as we are now free to assume that there might have been other contributing factors that played a role in the formation of X. Due to this ambiguity, we can eliminate (C)
(D) makes the same mistake as (C). Hence, we can eliminate (D)
This leaves us with (A) and (E). (E) uses the correct grammatical structure and hence is the correct answer choice.
X = All modern computer languages.
