Prior to Booth, Kara worked in graduate admissions for North Central College. Kara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University with a double major in psychology and criminal justice. She earned her Master of Arts in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Campus InterviewingLast year, nearly 150 firms visited Chicago Booth to interview students for jobs—companies such as McKinsey & Company, Apple, Tencent, Amgen, Backcountry, PepsiCo, Goldman Sachs, and Dimensional Fund Advisors.
Online Job PostingsIn addition to the companies that visit campus, many others post job openings through our online service. Last year, students and alumni had access to more than 3,000 positions.
Resume Referral ServiceThrough our resume referral service, we connect companies with qualified candidates for specific job openings. Our Employer Relations team conducts resume referrals for a variety of industries including private equity, luxury retail, consulting, investment management, investment banking, and technology.
Industry TreksEvery year, Booth offers over 25 industry treks to visit companies worldwide. Participants meet with alumni and professionals across a wide range of industries and geographies to learn about fields of interest. Past treks have included domestic visits for banking, marketing, health care, technology, and investment management firms across the country as well as international visits to private equity firms in China and consulting firms in the Middle East.
