As the contrast is between the number of films and work KB did but the movie that eventually brought her accolades is the eight movie she did Hurt locker.
D & E distort this intended meaning.
A is wordy and "in that" is an awkward sentence structure.
B distorts parallelism by using "directed" and "bringing".. both should be simple past.
P.S. - released in 2009 is a verb-ed modifier.
