Although neurologists have long been aware of the importance of sleep for our well-being, they did not expect that sleeping more than nine hours a day, the amount of rest previously associated with a healthy lifestyle, would lead to a decrease in quality of life and an increase in depressive symptoms like sleeping less than six hours has.
A. would lead to a decreasing quality of life and an increase in depressive symptoms like sleeping less than six hours has.
B. will lead to a decreasing quality of life and increasing depressive symptoms as less than six hours of sleep have.
C. would lead to a decrease in quality of life and an increase in depressive symptoms as does sleeping less than six hours.
D. to lead to a decrease in quality of life and an increase of depressive symptoms like sleeping less than six hours does.
E. leading to a decrease in quality of life and an increase in depressive symptoms, unlike sleeping less than six hours.
