Among all isosceles triangles RST having the measure of angle S equal to 40°, what is the largest possible measure for angle R?

(A) 40°
(B) 70°
(C) 90°
(D) 100°
(E) It cannot be determined from the information given

Largest possible measure would be 100 if S and T are equal to 40
D

E for me.
How do you know S=T?
Please help
Largest possible angle for R will only happen when S=T=40
In other two cases
R will be 40

Since angle S is 40 degrees, angle T could also be 40 degrees, making angle R, at maximum, 100 degrees.
